The performance Blow My Car Babe is inspired by the folkloristic drive in of the USA during the Fifties and the Sixties. Here you could watch a movie in the open air directly sitting in your car.
And at the Kusthalle? González thought of a car parked in front of the former typography TISCANOVA with a video projector inside the vehicle. The performance begins with the invitation by pretty good-looking models to step into the car and to blow up the car windows.
The atmosphere turns up the relationship between public and private space, the intimacy getting in contact with the public space.
